FELLOWSHIPS
Each year Oberlin Shansi awards Fellowships to current Oberlin College and Conservatory seniors and graduates of the past three years to live and work in China, India, Indonesia, and Japan. The Fellowships provide challenging and rewarding opportunities with Shansi’s long-term university and international development and non-governmental organizations in these four countries. The new Independent Fellowship was offered for the first time in Fall 2017. The Fellowships are open to all Oberlin students, regardless of academic department, at both the College of Arts and Sciences and the Conservatory of Music. There is no language requirement for the majority of the Fellowships.
