Donnie Harris

Donnie Harris returned from his Shansi fellowship at The American College in Madurai, India, in the summer of 2025. At AC, Donnie worked at the Oberlin Shansi International Center (alternatively, Centre) in partnership with AC’s Department of International Exchange and Study Abroad. Donnie engaged with students and faculty by conducting guest lectures, hosting professional development workshops, providing writing assistance, and facilitating community-building events. He also spent significant time at the Study Centre for Indian Literature in Translation (SCILET), volunteering with its warm staff and bright-eyed student cohorts. He is excited to continue his journey with the Shansi family.

As the Grants and Fellowships Coordinator for Oberlin Shansi, Donnie oversees much of the grant and fellowship recruitment and application process, supports Shansi development initiatives, and manages official communications.
