We’re also proud to share an article in Perempuan Peduli Leuser by Yana Levy ‘24, a recently returned Shansi Fellow. In this piece Yana details how she and her junior fellow, Trevor, collaborated with the YSAP Foundation, a grassroots NGO, to lead English-language workshops with Rohingya Refugees in Banda Aceh. We love that the article demonstrates how Yana and Trevor approached this work with open minds, deep reflection, and the highest ethical considerations.
