Shansi Welcomes New Deputy Director and Returned Fellow
Oberlin Shansi is thrilled to welcome two new members of the team. Ted Samuel and Louise Edwards joined us in mid-August as Shansi's new Deputy Director and Returned Fellow.
Wishing fond farewell to Shansi Associate Director Elaine Vukov
At the end of June, Associate Director Elaine Vukov left Shansi to return home to New York, pursue new challenges, and reacquaint herself with life in the big city. Elaine was a great partner for me as we both learned the ropes at Shansi and at Oberlin when we arrived in 2013.

Public Talk: Cinematic Bombay — Contingency, Crisis, and Decay
Please join us for a talk on Thursday, April 26th at 4:30pm in AJLC 120 given by Professor Ranjani Mazumdar. This presentation will look at the refractions of contemporary city of Bombay, India, through three unusual films of the recent past. It is part of the Global Issues Symposium.
